Tara Twomey, author, was previously of counsel with NCLC and the Executive Director of the National Consumer Bankruptcy Rights Center. Since writing this publication, Ms. Twomey has been appointed as the Director of the Executive Office for United States Trustees. She has co-authored Mortgage Servicing and Loan Modifications, Bankruptcy Basics, and Mortgage Lending and served as a contributing author for Consumer Bankruptcy Law and Practice and Repossessions. She also formerly served as a clinical instructor at the Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School. She is a graduate of Boston College Law School.
